Tinu is remembered

A condolence meeting was held last night at the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) for a former Indian School student who lost her three-year battle against cancer in India.
Indian Tinu Thomas, 24, was the elder of the two daughters of V. K. Thomas and Sosamma Thomas. Tinu was admitted in a Bangalore hospital for the past ten days, where she was undergoing chemotherapy. She was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2008.
She passed away on Tuesday.
Present at the meeting were BKS officials, Tinu's relatives and friends who remembered her as an independent person who took an extra effort to maintain good relationships with all whom she came across.
The funeral is planned for Saturday at the  St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Omalloor, Pathanamthitta, Kerala.
