Madhu and Anto defeated Nahas and Unni 21-14, 21-19 last week in the final of Flight One of the September edition of the Fifth Syed Modi monthly
badminton tournament organised by Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) for its members at its premises in Segaiya.
In Flight Two action, Anil and Regi beat the duo Shanto and Thomas 21-12, 23-21. The other winners were Manoj and Rajesh, winning 21-15, 21-18 against Shibu and Thrupthi in Flight Three and Ganesh and Vinod 18-21, 21-18, 21-18 against Gilbert and Shyju in Flight Four.
The tournament was held in four categories, based on the skill level of the players.

winners and runners-up were presented by BKS assistant secretary Santhosh Babu, entertainment secretary Manoharan Pavaratty, membership secretary Mohanaprasad, librarian Muralidhar Thampan and Indoor Games secretary Anil Kumar OM
