DRAMA Tippuvinte Archa will be staged at the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS), Segaiya.
Directed by Prakash Vadakara, who has been acting and directing dramas in Bahrain for many years, the drama is an independent production by Ashamon Kodungallore, based on a work by Bhaskaran Manantheri.
It depicts the relationship between Tippu Sultan and the historical heroine of bravery Unniyarcha.
The central character of Unniyarcha is played by Bahrain-based film actress Jaya Menon.
Almost 30 actors and back stage technical experts from Bahrain make up the rest of the crew.
It will be staged at the BKS on May 31 at 7.30pm for members and on June 1 at 5pm for the public.
Entrance is free.
The event is presented by the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam School of Drama in association with UAE Exchange.
